Alexandra Smedzik
Registered Social Worker, Psychotherapist
I am a registered social worker with over a decade of experience supporting children, adolescents, and families in navigating mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, emotional regulation, family transitions, and school related stress.
I hold a Master of Social Work from the University of Windsor and a Bachelor’s degree in Child and Youth Care from Toronto Metropolitan University. My professional foundation as a Child and Youth Worker, combined with extensive experience within school systems, allows me to understand the complex interplay between academic achievement, social development, and emotional well-being.
I am deeply committed to supporting the mental health of children and youth. My approach is grounded in empathy, respect, and inclusivity, with a focus on meeting each young person where they are. I strive to be a consistent and trusted partner in their therapeutic journey working collaboratively to build a safe, supportive relationship that fosters emotional growth, resilience, and meaningful change.
If you are seeking support for your child, adolescent, or family, I welcome the opportunity to connect.
