Dr. Christine Lambert

Psychologist

Dr. Christine Lambert completed her M.A. and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at Queen’s University. She completed her pre-doctoral residency at Surrey Place in Toronto, where she provided assessment and treatment to children, adolescents, and adults with developmental disabilities. She is registered with the College of Psychologists of Ontario as a clinical and school psychologist.

At Sageview Health, Dr. Lambert provides online treatment to children and adolescents presenting with anxiety (e.g., generalized anxiety disorder, social phobia, specific phobias, and panic disorder), depression, behavioural issues, emotion regulation difficulties, and difficulties coping with stress. Her primary theoretical orientation is cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), incorporating aspects of mindfulness/acceptance, attachment, and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). Dr. Lambert is also passionate about working with children and adolescents who have Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and are seeking support in managing anxiety, difficulties with relationships, mood difficulties, social skills, or adjusting to major life transitions. Her approach to clinical work is warm, nonjudgmental, and client-centered. Dr. Lambert’s distinctions include Masters and Doctoral awards from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC), and the Ontario Graduate Scholarship (OGS).
