Dr. Jason Bacchiochi

Dr. Jason Bacchiochi is the Co-Founder and Clinical Director of Sageview Health (Formerly B&C Health). He completed his Ph.D. in 2005, graduating from the University of Toronto. Much of his advanced clinical training took place at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH). He was employed in various capacities at CAMH from 2005 until 2012.

Most recently Dr. Bacchiochi was the Assessment Team Head at the Work, Stress and Health Program, and the Psychological Trauma Program at the CAMH and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Toronto (2008 to 2012). He has co-authored peer reviewed publications in the areas of personality and psychopathology and the impact on response style distortion on psychological testing. Dr. Bacchiochi has been actively involved in training and supervising psychology graduate students and junior psychology staff in the provision of independent psychological assessments.

Dr. Bacchiochi has consulted to a number of organizations regarding mental health disability including private insurers, employers, lawyers, WSIB, the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario and the Physician’s Health Program. Dr. Bacchiochi’s clinical interests span both assessment and treatment, with particular emphasis on mental health in the workplace and psychological trauma. His primary theoretical orientation is Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and is an experienced therapist in the treatment of mood and anxiety disorders.
