Dr. Hester Dunlap
Dr. Dunlap has a PhD from the University of Toronto, and is a registered psychologist with the College of Psychologists of Ontario. Much of her advanced clinical training took place at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH), where she subsequently worked for over 10 years. Her positions included Clinic Head of the Work Stress and Health program, as well as a cross appointment as Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry, Faculty of Medicine.
Dr. Dunlap has significant experience providing individual and group treatment in both outpatient and inpatient settings. Her clinical expertise and interests include assessment and treatment related to depression, anxiety, PTSD, and stressor related disorders. She works from a strengths-based approach, and her training and theoretical orientation are in evidence based therapies including CBT, DBT, and ACT.
