Madison Mansueto

Psychotherapist

Madison is a Registered Psychotherapist who earned her Masters of Education in Counseling and Psychotherapy from the University of Toronto, Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (OISE) and Honours Bachelor of Science, majoring in Psychology from the University of Toronto. Madison has a breadth of experience, including work as a research assistant at both the University of Toronto and York University, providing crisis support at the Halton Distress Centre, as well as conducting pet therapy on CAMH’s forensic triage floor. Madison completed her clinical training with Sageview Health and uses empirically supported methods to treat adults of all ages who experience a range of psychological concerns including but not limited to, anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, OCD, perfectionism, relational difficulties, and interpersonal problems.

Using client-centred and strength-based treatments Madison works alongside her clients from an integrative approach, with her primary theoretical orientation being cognitive behavioural therapy, she also incorporates aspects of emotion-focused therapy, mindfulness-based therapy, and cognitive processing therapy, ensuring to accommodate and work with each client in a way that works best for them. Passionate about creating a warm, empathetic, welcoming, and non-judgmental space, Madison welcomes clients of a diverse background and has an interpersonal style that reflects kindness, curiosity, compassion, understanding and flexibility, striving to assist all of her clients in reaching their treatment goals in a safe and individualized way.
