Nida is a Psychologist in Ontario providing psychological services to adults and couples. Nida received her Masters in Counseling Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania, where she was blessed to gain influence from Aaron Beck, the founder of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy. Nida has been working front-line in the clinical field for 12 years with the last 8 years of extensive experience working with adult and adolescent clients helping them deal with anxiety, complex trauma, addiction, depression, and postpartum depression, family/relationship issues and more. In her current work, she employs an integrative approach to psychotherapy, utilizing techniques from Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and weaving in elements of Brief Psychodynamic Therapy (BPT). Nida also specializes in Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT-C)for Couples.
