Sara is passionate about helping others live their best life possible. Sara takes an integrative and client-centred approach, by leveraging the various evidence-based psychotherapeutic approaches that best meet clients’ needs and preferences. Sara mostly draws from Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Emotion-focused Therapy (EFT). In working collaboratively together, clients will build knowledge, and practice skills for optimal growth and change.
Sara is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. Sara has a Master’s of Science in Clinical Psychology from Western University and additional clinical training in evidence-based psychotherapy interventions such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and Emotion-focused Therapy. Sara has worked as an applied health researcher for 20 years, with a doctoral degree in Clinical Epidemiology and Health Services Research (2012) and Master’s of Science in Physical Therapy (2003) from the University of Toronto. Sara has over 120 peer reviewed publications exploring topics such as quality of life, transitions in care, and disability.
