Dr. Jessica Dalley
Psychologist
Dr. Jessica Dalley is a Psychologist who works collaboratively with children, adolescents, and families who are experiencing a variety of difficulties, including ADHD, Autism, anxiety, selective mutism, obsessive compulsive disorder, depression, and parent-child conflict. Dr. Dalley is trained to provide evidence-based treatment using Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), and Emotion Focused Family Therapy (EFFT). In her clinical work, Dr. Dalley aims to take an encouraging and values-directed approach that builds on the existing strengths within youth and their caregivers, including empowering parents to better understand and support their youth through emotional and behavioural challenges.
Dr. Dalley completed her master’s and doctoral degree in the Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology program at the University of Guelph. She completed her predoctoral residency at McMaster Children’s Hospital/Ron Joyce Children’s Health Centre of Hamilton Health Sciences. She has also trained at the Waterloo Region District School Board, the Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board, the Child Advocacy and Assessment Program at McMaster Children’s Hospital, and the Centre for Psychological Services at the University of Guelph.
