About the Job Position
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
- Doctoral level, Masters level, or Graduate students with a degree in Psychology or Social Work
- The demonstrated skills to provide evidence-based clinical management, assessment and therapy services
- Trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and CBT, and familiar with additional modalities of treatment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Experience working with personality disorders, trauma, and mood and anxiety disorders
- Competency in working with children and/or adolescents
THE FOLLOWING QUALITIES WOULD BE CONSIDERED ASSETS:
- Official training from Behavioral Tech (Marsha Linehan’s certified training program) or willingness to participate in such training
- Experience with trauma-focused therapies (TF-CBT, PE, CPT)
- Facility with Mindfulness Meditation, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotion Focused Family Therapy (EFFT)
- Ability to offer treatment in a second language
- Competency in working with couples and/or families
