Group Therapy

Provide a warm and safe environment where you will be given the tools and support to face difficult challenges

In a group environment with the help of a therapist, you will learn strategies and skills to better manage your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours.  

Groups are typically 90 minutes and occur weekly for 8 to 12 weeks, there may be a one-on-one session at the beginning or end depending on the nature of the group. Attendance is expected at each session to ensure you get the most out of the experience and all the new skills you’ll be learning! 

WHAT TO EXPECT:

There will be other people in the group who struggle with similar difficulties. While this might seem scary at first, most people find comfort in knowing they’re not alone because others can relate to their experiences.  Groups provide an opportunity for members to learn tips and strategies from one another. You will have a built-in support system!
